All Season Wellness Day Spa is one of four featured day spas in the Spa Days event held now through Labor Day in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

The event offers visitors and locals special discounts on spa packages, facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, body treatments and more.

“We know a lot people will be in town leading up to Labor Day weekend,” Ms. Peretz, owner of All Season Wellness Day Spa commented. “It's going to be a great weekend with the Wild West Air Fest and all the other activities going around town. We know the planes will be up in the air, but we wanted to help people become more grounded,” Ms. Peretz quipped. 

Participating downtown spas include the Life Essentials Day Spa at 4th and Lincoln, a local legend for over 10 years, as well as the gorgeous Waterside Day Spa at 11th and Yampa St., located across from the Yampa River.

On the mountain, A Calming Touch Boutique Spa is a participant. The spa is located in the Eagle Ridge Lodge near the base of the mountain.

All Season Wellness, an Asian-infused Day Spa located mid-town next to McDonald’s is also part of this year’s Spa Days.

One of the things I enjoy most is when my wife gives me gift certificates .  It could be a babysitting coupon, a gift certificate to go on a hike with me (something I like to do but she doesn't), a certificate to do what I want to do one evening, etc. The opportunities are limitless, and you know your partner better than anyone, so think of what they like and then give him/her something special!
3. Forget the Chocolate, get a Couple's Massage in Steamboat. Or, since the Saint's just won the big game, go to Sunpie's Bistro on Yampa Street for some Cajon food and a very casual atmosphere with Hurricanes and po'boys.
6. Live a little on the wild side at Strawberry Park Hot Springs. This treasure, a little out of town, is a natural hot springs, and is clothing optional after dark. Yes, it's true, so if you or your partner has a wild streak, head to the hot springs. You need snow tires or a four-wheel drive to get there, or use the tour bus that will transport you to this very secluded and steamy spot!

 In any event, have a great Valentine's Day weekend in Steamboat, be a romantic, and enjoy time with your partner. Life is short!

Steamboat Springs 2010 Winter Carnival kicks into high gear this weekend. The flurry of signature activities include Ski Jumping at Howlesen Hill, a Tubing Party, family events through downtown, ice sculptures, the famous Lighted Man during the Saturday night extravaganza that includes fireworks, and the legendary Diamond Hitch Parade on Sunday morning with the world's only high school marching band on skis.

This is the 97th edition of Winter Carnival, one of the coolest events in any ski town in America. Winter Carnival has been featured in many national magazine and on network television, including Ski Magazine and Good Morning America.

This 2010 Winter Carnival will have special meaning for Ski Town USA® since the town will be sending 17 athletes to the 2010 Winter Olympics in a special send-off at the downtown Court House on Friday Evening. Steamboat Springs continues its amazing run at the Winter Olympics, having sent more athletes to the winter games than any other city in America. This year's group of 17 participants will compete in five different disciplines and represent four countries.

The Saturday and Sunday morning street events include various races on horses and skis, with children participating in the street slalom, ski joring, a donkey jump and several ring and spear/box contests on a snow-covered Lincoln Avenue through downtown.

Saturday night's main event at Howelsen Hill includes ski jumping, aerials, a torch parade, the famous Lighted Man and the winter's best fireworks display.

The Sunday Diamond Hitch Parade starts at 11:30 am and features the most unlikely high school band you'll ever see, since they're on skis!
